JESSY CHEUNG
Publicity Officers are the bridge between MUSA and the student body, which aids in the development and maintenance of lines of communication, mutual understanding, and cooperation between MUSA and student bodies.
Our focus is to create a positive image of MUSA amongst the student body, create promotions and brand awareness and to create a harmonious yet sustainable relationship between MUSA, Monash and the student body.

The Activities Chairperson’s department is in charge of planning the major events here at Monash. Our pride and joy is the planning of the Annual Ball. Our main goals for the department are to give students memories of a lifetime that are unforgettable. Our department stands for inclusivity and the mission is to organize events that cater to students from all walks of life which will simultaneously bridge the gap between the students by providing them with a platform to interact outside of academics.

The Welfare Department is primarily concerned with handling all matters pertaining to students’ mental and physical wellbeing as well as student safety. Aside from this, the department is also responsible for organizing initiatives to boost student happiness and satisfaction throughout the academic year.
The Welfare Department strives to uplift the voices of students when it comes to upholding their rights and protecting their wellbeing, and is in charge of chairing the Welfare Affairs Committee (WAC). For any health and wellbeing concern, this is the department to reach out to.

MUSA Editors consist of 4 Heads: Administration, Writing, Media and Graphic Design. We are in charge of covering events that happen both on campus and virtually throughout the year as well as providing a safe space for Monash students to express their creativity on our platform.
All our creative works are finally compiled in our digital and physical magazine: the Monash Gazette also known as MONGA which will be distributed to the student population at the end of the year.
